The Atlantic Immigration Pilot creates the opportunity for foreign workers in nearly all job sectors in Atlantic Canada to become permanent residents.

What is the Atlantic Immigration Pilot?

The economy of Atlantic Canada is expanding, and there simply aren’t enough qualified and skilled people to meet the labour demands of the region. This is why the provinces grouped together to create a pathway to permanent residency for foreigners who want to permanently settle and live in Atlantic Canada. The participating provinces are; Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador and Prince Edward Island. The pilot is scheduled to run until 28 February 2021, so we suggest you move quickly to seize your opportunity of securing permanent residency in Canada. Foreign workers in almost every occupation are eligible to become permanent residents under the AIP. Atlantic Canada needs everyone; butchers, cooks, truck drivers, accountants, nurses, doctors, food and beverage servers, home care workers, plumbers and fishermen.
